User Persona
User Persona

The first draft of a user persona I created for my project.

User Persona 2

After discussing user personas with our mentors, I decided to simplify my persona. We had discussed all the extra things that can be included in user personas. In our discussion we talked about how really the important things to come out of a persona are behaviors, motivations, and goals.

User Interview
User Interview

While trying to decide what would be needed in a website like this, the client put me in touch with someone who would very likely be a user of this site in the future. This was my interview with that user.

Journey Map
Journey Map

As I started the process, I made a journey map of how a customer would move through the process of searching for and using my client’s website. I used RealtimeBoard to make this journey map.

Paper Prototype
Paper Prototype

I made a paper prototype and took it with me to a game tournament. Using this paper prototype, I performed user testing with people who would actually be using this website.

This was the image I was given for inspiration. I tried to use this image when making color and style decisions.

I used the image given to me to make a color palette for the website.

Early Wireframe
Early Wireframe

This was an early wireframe of the website. I used Adobe XD to make a high fidelity prototype of the wireframe and used it for some simple user testing.

Wireframe Version 2
Wireframe Version 2

After doing my user testing, I decided to rework the wireframe I had made originally. I discussed with my mentors the main goal of the website being to get people to contact the client. With this information in mind, I made the contact form available on every page and moved it to a prominent and easily accessible area. I also made wire frames for tablet and mobile sites. I made this wireframe using Sketch.
